Building an email list is the biggest asset you can ever have owning an online business. Leveraging your hard earned clicks by having prospective leads optin to your autoresponder before sending them to a sales page is the best way to build assets and thus create relationships over time to expand on your marketing efforts.
In my embryo stages of Internet Marketing I was literally leaving money on the table with PPC advertising. Why? Because I was sending clicks straight to the offer… only to get a quick sale and would never hear from the buyer again. That marketing method is cool if you were leveraging free traffic to get clicks – but again, why not build assets with that free traffic and generate sales simultaneously?
Here I’m going to share with you 6 reasons why you should be talking about building an email list. But first, let’s elaborate a bit more on what list building is for those of you who been hiding under a rock.
What Is List Building?
List building is a process of adding new subscribers to your email list with an autoresponder (e.g., Aweber, Getresponse, Mailchimp etc…). These subscribers give you permission to send them emails once they signup through your squeeze page to obtain the information you’re promoting.
There’s a method (which we will get into later) on how to streamline this process to ensure your efforts are lucrative for your business… including building trust and rapport with your subscribers… as they can (and some will) unsubscribe just as FAST if you don’t manage your list properly.

- Squeeze Page – (Also referred to as a Landing Page or Optin Page) Main purpose is to entice a prospective lead by offering information of value in exchange for their email address.
