Fortunately, there is a solution… formulating an FB engagement ad for just pennies on the dollars! By creating an engagement ad first, it allows you to build your brand and gather enough social proof in the eyes of your customers, such that the curiosity alone will generate more eyeballs šŸ‘€ to your offer.

Now, having said that… it doesn’t neglect the fact that you still have to conjure up a highly strategic marketing plan to capture leads and convert them into buyers.

How To Get FB Engagement For Less Than A Penny

The best and most efficient way to generate Facebook engagement for your ads is to leverage video. Having a short engaging video to use in your ads is a highly effective approach.

An engaging video draws more eyeballs to your ads than a still image. It’s even more effective if the video has already a viral effect (e.g., youtube video).

More importantly, video ads are more cost-effective if done right… they can not only generate the social proof but can also get you a ton of comments, likes, and shares in addition to a ton of organic traffic.

The key šŸ”‘ however to a successful FB engagement ad is “Targeting”. Most marketers target the same countries over and over in their campaigns (e.g., United States, Canada, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia) hence, the competition in these markets is what drives up your ads costs.

On the other hand, targeting tier 2 and tier 3 countries such as India, Egypt, Morocco, Nepal, Philippines etc… you can potentially see clicks for as low as $0.003

Now, keep in mind that this strategy is only designed to get social proof for your ads before you actually target the real demographics related to your offer.

Once you get started with this strategy and have your engagement ad up and running… just let it run. Allow FB to use its algorithm to do what it does best …which is to get the most qualified audience to engage with your video. From there it’s extremely important to monitor the data your ads are bringing in and leverage that data to formulate your next ad.

Now What?

Once you have built a solid campaign to generate social proof… it’s time to take it to the next level. The next level is to come up with a solid marketing strategy to capture leads and turn them into customers, which will be that much easier now that you have the social proof!

If you’re still struggling trying to capture leads, and tired of losing money with Facebook Ads… I have put together a complete comprehensive marketing strategy: ‘3 Tiers To Dominate FB Marketing’ that reveals the 3 tiers of marketing that turns losing FB campaigns into high-quality leads and leads to high-paying customers.

      Mark,

Thanks for the tip on the engagement ad. My husband and I are just starting a fb online business with Digital Genius Lab. We want to follow your advice and do an engagement ad that targets the 6 countries you suggested. We are thinking that since funny baby and/or animal videos are some of the most popular non-music videos we would use one of them. However, we are wondering if videos of American babies would not get so many likes. What do you think? The other problem with animal and baby videos is that they are usually less than 20 seconds long. Is that too short? Also, all of the videos we find are compiled so we are wondering about the copyright laws. It is impossible to find a popular video that has been posted by an individual. Finally, is it better to go with a video that has had over a million likes or to choose one that has less more like a 500K. Is it better to choose one that was viral 3-4 years ago or a more recent one?

      Thank you,

      Judy
