Fighting against all class of great disadvantages and pressures, Napoleon Hill dedicated more than 25 years of his life to define the reasons by which so many people fail to achieve true financial success and happiness in their lives. During this time he achieved his own success as both an attorney and journalist.
Think And Grow Rich is about the science of personal achievement – the philosophy of success… written in 1937 and has sold more than 20 million copies by the time of his passing in 1970.
It took Hill over 20 years to produce this book, formulated by a philosophy of success from the thoughts and experience of a magnitude of rags-to-riches tycoons. Before we can accumulate riches in abundance, we must magnetize our minds with intense DESIRE for riches, that we must become money conscious until the DESIRE for money drives us to create definite plans for acquiring it. The method by which DESIRE for riches can be transmitted into its financial equivalent consists of six definite, practical steps:
1. Fix in your mind for the exact amount of money you desire.
2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire.
3. Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.
4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and began at once.
5. Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.
6. Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and again upon arising in the morning.
Only those who become “money conscious” ever accumulate great riches. “Money Conscious” simply means that the mind has become so thoroughly saturated with the DESIRE for money, that one can see one’s self already in possession of it.
Every Failure Brings With It The Seed Of An Equivalent Success
Keep in mind that unless you were fortunate enough to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth… all those who succeed in life get off to a bad start, and pass through many heartbreaking struggles before they arrive.
Do not wait for a definite plan, through which you intend to exchange services or products in return for the money you are visualizing, but begin at once to see yourself in possession of the money, DEMANDING and EXPECTING meanwhile, that your subconscious mind will hand over the plan(s) you need.
Be on the alert for these plans, and when they appear, put them in ACTION IMMEDIATELY. When the plans appear, they will probably “flash” into your mind through the sixth sense, in the form of inspiration.
So before you waste any more time and money, on yet another course… get your mindset exactly where it needs to be by formulating a plan of action and attract the riches you long DESIRE!
