Warning You're Losing Money By Not Using Solo AdsFinally… you feel good about a campaign that you’d like to promote. Your Sales Funnel is complete, and your goal is to build an email list to capture leads, and perhaps conjure up some sales in the process. Everything you need to fulfill your goal is predicated on the Sales Funnel you created:

  • Lead Magnet
  • Squeeze Page
  • Thank-You Page
  • Front End Offer
  • Email Series
  • Back End Offer

Yet, you’re still indecisive about the most efficient and effective method to promote your offer. In a perfect world all you need to do is invest some traffic into your funnel and watch the results come in. However there are so many variables to consider when orchestrating an effective campaign… far too many for me to elaborate here. Having said that, if you want to build a list FAST so that you can start promoting other related offers – then my recommendation would be Solo Ads.

The Pros and Cons Of Using Solo Ads

Benefits

Solo Ads are quick… you can potentially build a list of 1,000 subscribers in as little of 3 days. Furthermore, if you have a great front end offer included in your funnel, you’re almost guaranteed a positive ROI. A good Solo Ad provider has the ability to sale buyer’s clicks… these are subscribers that have recently purchased, and are more likely to purchase again. In the same way, a good Solo Ad providers’ subscribers list mostly come from tier 1 Countries. And 9 times outta 10 they over deliver on their clicks…

Unlike Pay-Per-Click, with solo’s you only pay for unique clicks (in other words, the same person can click on your offer as many times as they like but it only counts as 1 click). One of the best features I like about Solo Ads is that the best providers will write the copy on your behalf… all you have to do is send them the link to your offer and watch the subscribers roll in.

Cons

Unfortunately, there are a lot of scam artist online claiming to be sellers of Solo Ads… so buyer beware! And do your due-diligence in your quest for Solo Ad providers. Another thing to keep in mind with solo’s is that not all traffic is from tier 1 Countries… there’s a lot of tier 2 and tier 3 traffic also. Most importantly to note, is that sales are not guaranteed. Although the objective is to gain subscribers, sales are an added bonus and predicated mostly on how unsaturated and responsive the traffic is.

How To Get The Most Value From Solo Ads

Like anything else, finding a good Solo Ad provider all starts with research. Solo Ads tend to be costly… in part because you’re paying for all your clicks up front. Typically, the more clicks you purchase the lower the CPC. Nonetheless, you want to make sure that you get the best value for your money. With that said, you want to make sure to read the testimonials of other buyers from your potential Solo Ad provider. Below is a short list of points you’d like to see in testimonialsWarning You're Losing Money By Not Using Solo Ads

  1. Sales
  2. Opt-in Rate of at least 40 – 50%
  3. At least 75% of Tier 1 Traffic
  4. Expedient delivery

We can even take it a step further by asking the provider specific questions pertaining to their data base. For example, you’d want to know how often the provider’s’ traffic source is replenished with new leads… and if they were double or single opt-ins. The last key ingredient is confirming that the provider’s niche is aligned with your offer…

If you’re a newbie… two places I highly recommend for Solo Ads and Testimonials are Facebook Groups and Udimi where I’ve had plenty of success. Good luck and let me know if you found success with Solo Ads in the comments below.

      Hi Mark

I’m glad I found your blog post as I have been thinking of trying solo ads for a while. But as you rightly say, it could be a minefield if you’re not careful.

This is what has prevented me from trying it out up to now. I just don’t want to go head first before I know what I’m doing. So I’ll take your advice on-board and tread wearily.

        Hey Greg

Solo Ads has the potential to get your business up and running faster than any other traffic source (if done correctly). And remember the fortune is in the follow up, so remember to establish rapport with your customers in your follow up emails.

        Good luck!!
