Hi- I’m Mark Buchanan born and raised Los Angeles, CA – now residing in Riverside, CA. My former employer was Warner Bros. where I last worked as an Analyst in Home Entertainment. Working for Warner Bros. was one of the best jobs I ever had, my career there expanded over 24 years.
It was there, during the last couple of years of my employment that I stumbled upon internet marketing. In part, because my job could no longer sustain all the expenses I was incurring each month, so I began seeking additional means of employment to supplement my income. And after a couple of years of trial & error, I am finally reaping the benefits of becoming a successful entrepreneur through perseverance and hard work.
Besides being an entrepreneur, I have other interest which includes traveling, sports, and entertainment. Coincidently, my passport is up for renewal this year… rest assured that is one of my top priorities; my passport could stand a few more stamps before this year is out. Although golf is one of my favorite hobbies (need to work on that slice) basketball is my favorite past-times. Having said that, music and entertainment is what I live for… besides having a successful dj business I run as well, I’m actually flirting with the idea of starting an independent record label (more on that later).
Like I’d mentioned earlier, I was employed by Warner Bros when I started Internet Marketing, and one of my goals was to become successful enough so that I could leave my job and become a marketer full-time. However unbeknownst to me my job had plans to downsize, and as a result, I was laid off in November of 2014 which was actually a bitter/sweet moment for me. It was bitter simply because of all the friendships and camaraderie I’ve acquired during my 24-year tenure with the company. On the other hand, it’s sweet because now I don’t have to waste several hours a day commuting back and forth to work every day. “My commute to work each day was 2 hours long.” What makes even sweeter is that I now have every day to fulfill my goals. “I have no excuse not to succeed.”
